We are delighted to introduce you to our Roman Osteria, a collaboration between Guy Grossi and The Westin Perth, housed In the stunning surrounds of historic Hibernian Hall in the Perth CBD. Here, you will find award-winning authentic Roman Italian cuisine. Our menu focuses on both ancient Roman techniques and modern Italian classics set in a stylish and relaxed atmosphere.

Our name originates from Garum, a Roman fish sauce made by salting and fermenting fish in small clay jugs or vessels, commonly used throughout ancient Roman cooking.

We continue to be a favourite Italian restaurant in Perth for WA locals, interstate and international guests alike and we look forward to welcoming you soon!

Our food is focused on the ideals of Roman cooking, its techniques and history while highlighting the richness of Western Australian produce. 

An exploration of ancient Roman cooking with contemporary consideration. 

Beverages

Our wine list is based around the drinking culture of Ancient Rome. Throughout the list we highlight the region of Lazio whilst supporting the great diversity of producers in Western Australia. 

Following a practice developed by the Romans our wines are categorised by colour and then by grape varietal forming a simplistic drinking guide.

The Italian Happy Hour! Experience this much-loved Italian tradition and unwind after work or pre-dinner with a select menu of reduced priced drinks and bar snacks.

‘Polpo’ Private Dining

Our stunning Polpo private dining space seats up to 14 people and the alcove semi-private dining are seats up to 16 people, perfect for your events, celebrations and corporate functions.
